Colorado State Patrol seeks info on injured pedestrian on Highway 94

Colorado State Patrol

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is asking for help finding out more information about a potential incident involving a pedestrian on Highway 94 Friday night.

According to CSP, a trooper was patrolling the area of westbound Highway 94 around 8:30 p.m. on October 9, just north of Schriever Space Force Base. While out there, CSP says the trooper noticed an adult male walking in the road with obvious "serious bodily injury."

CSP says the trooper didn't see any vehicle or other mode of transportation in the area, and stopped and made contact with the person. He was taken to a local medical facility for his injuries.

Now, CSP is asking anyone who may have been in the area between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. who may have seen the man walking, or an incident involving them, to share information. They are asked to contact CSP and reference case number VC250371.
