The trial of Lindsay Clancy has ended in a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict following seven days of deliberations, according to CNN.

The jury told the judge it was deadlocked and could not come to an agreement. The judge then declared a mistrial.

Clancy is accused of killing her three young children in 2023 by strangling them.

Prosecutors argued that Clancy intentionally killed her children and described her actions as deliberate and rational.

The defense has argued that Clancy should not be held criminally responsible, saying she was experiencing postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings.

The mistrial means the jury did not reach a verdict in the case.
