Pikes Peak Regional Airshow returns to Colorado Springs this September

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A popular air show is taking over Colorado Springs skies again in September.

The Pikes Peak Regional Airshow will return Sept. 19 and 20, featuring performances from the U.S. Air Force F-35A demo team and U.S. Navy F-18 demo team. Organizers say the airshow will also have performers like Franklin's Flying Circus, a F7F Tigercat and the Wings of Blue U.S. Air Force Parachute team. Officials say there will also be interactive exhibits throughout the two-day event.

The show last took place in 2024 and had more than 30,000 people attend, according to organizers. All proceeds from the airshow go to three local museums, including the National Museum of World War II Aviation, the Peterson Air and Space Museum and the 4th Infantry Division Museum.

Tickets are available now on the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow website. Gates for the event open at 8:30 a.m. with parking starting at 8 a.m.
