Flooding likely as severe storms continue

TODAY: Strong storms bring more widespread heavy rainfall, increasing chances for flash flooding, 60+ MPH winds, and large hail. Colorado Springs gets hit the hardest from 5-7 p.m. The Aspen Acres burn scar has a Flash Flood Warning in place until 4 p.m. This warning will likely be extended due to heavy showers through Pueblo until 7 p.m.

TOMORROW: Thunderstorms continue through the PM. Thunderstorms and showers will hit Colorado Springs as early as 1 p.m., favoring the northern areas.

EXTENDED: It's a wet workweek with more PM storms and severe weather potential through at least Thursday. Temps increase to the mid-90s in Colorado Springs and high 90s in Pueblo with much drier conditions this weekend.
