Star-Spangled Symphony postponed, planning for future date

KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Star-Spangled Symphony at Ford Amphitheater on the Fourth of July has been postponed.

Organizers made the decision after the City of Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) announced all permitted Fourth of July fireworks events were cancelled due to extreme wildfire danger, according to a press release.

Organizers, including Ford Amphitheater and Colorado Springs Philharmonic, say ticket holders can hold onto their tickets until the rescheduled date is announced. Details will be sent to the person who purchased the tickets, as well as refund information if needed.

A new date will be announced soon, organizers say.
