Air quality alert leads to cancellation of outdoor activities in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo Parks and Recreation has canceled all outdoor recreation activities for Monday, June 29, due to an air quality alert issued by the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE).

This includes the following programs, according to city officials:

  • All open swim activities
  • Adult pickleball league
  • Walking trip to the pool from El Centro del Quinto Sol
  • T-ball
  • Coach pitch
  • Adult softball and concessions
