Semitruck rollover causes major delays on I-25 southbound

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado State Patrol says that traffic is now moving through the left lane on I-25 southbound after a crash between Rancho Colorado Boulevard and County Line Road that previously had all southbound lanes closed.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash involves a semi hauling cars and a pickup truck. Patrol says initial reports show that the semi went off the road into a median and hit a guardrail.

The semi then overcorrected and rolled, according to CSP. One person was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, says CSP.

Southbound traffic is being diverted to Highway 115, according to CSP.

CSP says there is no known timeframe for the full reopening of southbound lanes and that it remains an active scene.
