Tracking windy morning & mountain snow

what to expect
KRDO

TODAY: Mountain snow will calm down for most of the day, then ramp back up overnight. Winds dial down as well with gusts in the 20-30 MPH range across most of the area this afternoon, and just breezy conditions this evening.

TOMORROW: Heavy mountain snow continues. We could pick up another 2 feet of snow across some of our San Juan Mountains by Friday night! Expect whiteout conditions and slick roads in the High Country. We could see a few spillover showers along and east of I-25 but accumulations would be very light if any.

EXTENDED: We dry out and warm back up to the high 40's by Sunday and 60's early next week.
