EPSO investigating a suspicious death near Stratmoor Hills, victim identified

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO) has announced that they are investigating a suspicious death near the 4000 block of Loomis Ave.

According to EPSO, a call for medical assistance was received around 2:54 p.m. on Oct. 31. The Stramoor Fire Department responded, locating an adult female who was pronounced dead on arrival.

The El Paso County Coroner has since identified the female as 38-year-old Yetzabel Quinones.

EPSO has begun an investigation and asks that anyone with information contact 719-390-5555. According to deputies, there is no known risk to the public.
