Community rallies to return lost wedding quilt to Colorado College student

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Colorado College student has had a quilt returned that she was preparing for her sister's wedding, thanks to the community's support.
Natalie Shellhouse, a family friend of the student, reached out to KRDO13 for assistance when she received news that Lily Mulligan had lost the blanket on September 24 near Weber and San Rafael.
Shellhouse informed KRDO13 that Mulligan had lost the blanket when it fell out of her backpack after she had worked tirelessly on the gift for 400 hours.
After the community's help, the quilt was found and returned to Mulligan.
"There are good people in this world," says Natalie Shellhouse.
