Day 1 of the 2A girls state golf tournament

Day 1 of the 2A state golf tournament wrapped up after an active day of weather.

The golfers had to navigate high winds and rain in the early afternoon of play.

Salida senior Kyndra Johnson finished the day just one shot off the lead, while Manitou Springs sophomore Addison Dorsey is only two shots back.

The state tournament will wrap up on Tuesday.
