COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) confirms they are working a shooting 2800 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue.

Police say one person was shot at Parkhill Business Centre. CSPD says medics tried to help when they arrived, but they were not able to save the victim.

Police say no one's been arrested at this time.

"We do have one person of interest that we are speaking to, and right now we believe-- according to our investigation-- everyone that's involved with this incident is accounted for. Of course, the investigation is in the very early stages and if we discover that we should be talking to more people, we're certainly going to put that into motion," Ira Cronin with CSPD said in a press conference late Friday afternoon.

Police say the parking lot will likely be shut down for the next several hours as police continue to investigate.
