An outstanding season by the Pine Creek Eagles hockey team came to an end on Saturday.

The Eagles lost a heartbreaker to Steamboat Springs, 3-2, in double overtime.

Conley Polsgrove and Jackson Smetana each had a goal in the loss.

Pine Creek finishes the season 13-5-2.
