Five car crash shut down I-25 Northbound between Voyager and Baptist road exits

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - I-25 was shut down during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 5th.

Co-trip cameras and reports show two cars left on the road near Northgate Boulevard.

Colorado Department of Transportation says that there were two overnight crashes, one leading to the other. The debris from the initial crash caused the second crash to happen.

KRDO13 is pressing for information from the Colorado State Patrol on injuries and fatalities.
