Denver-area highway closed after electric vehicle fire

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - Adams County Fire Rescue says I-76 East Bound from Pecos to I-25 is closed after a single-car accident.

Fire rescue says an electric car caught fire in the incident, "caused by thermal runaway from a lithium-ion battery."

The department says one person was treated for minor injuries.
