(CNN) — The “power of love” between singers Adele and Celine Dion knows no bounds.

This was on full display on Saturday night during Adele’s concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas when the two powerhouse vocalists were each brought to tears after an emotional interaction.

The moment happened on Saturday while Adele was singing her song “Easy On Me” and became visibly moved at the sight of Dion, who she approached for a hug that got the crowd roaring, according to footage posted online.

By the end of the embrace, Dion was dabbing tears out of her eyes, appearing to be as overcome by the moment as Adele.

On Monday, Adele shared a photo of the moment on her Instagram page, writing in the caption that Dion’s attendance was a “surprise.” She also acknowledged that the venue in which her residency has taken place was the same one built for Dion when she first launched her own Las Vegas residency “A New Day” over two decades ago.

“It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her,” Adele wrote. “I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on.”

Addressing Dion directly, Adele continued, “I love you so very very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family.”

Adele was so overcome during her concert that she asked the crowd to help her finish singing the song.

After their in-crowd meeting, Dion stood up to take a bow as Adele told the cheering crowd that the “My Heart Will Go On” singer was “one of my favorite people of all time.”

Adele is in the final stretch of her Las Vegas residency. “Weekends with Adele,” which kicked off in January 2022, will conclude on November 23.
