One person hospitalized after house fire in southwest Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a house fire on the southwest side of the city Friday night.

According to CSFD, the house was located at 78 Haney Rd., near Highway 115 and Lake Ave. The department said responding crews arrived to a "well-involved house fire."

It was reported later in the evening that one person was sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and seven people are now without a home.
