Highway 83 south of Franktown closed in both directions due to a crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado highway 83 is currently closed in both directions due to a crash in the area.

According to COTrip.org, the road closure is between Lake Gulch Road and Russellville Road, five miles south of Franktown, Colorado.

Drivers are advised to use an alternative route while crews work to clear the area.
