KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- According to unofficial results, two members of the Cherokee Metropolitan District Board have been recalled in an election.

The Cherokee Metro District which serves the Cimarron Hills area here in Colorado Springs has been dealing with a lot of concerns recently over water quality following the release of a water quality report that came from the district in February and the board's inaction to fix the problem.

Following the recall, board member Linda Lee Keleher is being replaced by Kim Wilson. Board member Steven Hasbrouck will be replaced by Jeremy Atkinson as well. The June 12th election judges will reconvene to make the recall official.
