Human remains discovered in remote camping area in Park County

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - On Tuesday this week, May 28, the Park County Sheriff's Office received a report about possible human remains discovered on Forest Service land near Bailey.

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the remains were found in a remote camping area outside of Baily, CO, and were confirmed as human remains. The agency said forensic specialists are conducting a "meticulous examination" to collect evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the finding. They are also working to identify the remains.
