Homicide investigation underway in northeast Colorado Springs after two found dead

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating two deaths on Lange Terrace right off Dublin Boulevard in Colorado Springs. At least one death is a homicide.

Police were called to the scene at 5:03 this morning and according to our crews on the scene, the major crimes unit has responded.

CSPD says that they responded to a shooting call for service. Two people were found deceased. At this time, all parties who are believed to be involved are accounted for.

There are no closures in place and there is no current threat to the public. This is a developing story.

EDITORS NOTE: A previous version of this article stated that the incident was a homicide/suicide. The Colorado Springs Police Department has since clarified that they are still processing the scene and it is to early to make that determination.
