One dead after structure fire in Stratton Meadows area
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a structure fire at 1126 Norwood Ave.
This is in the Stratton Meadows area on the south side of Colorado Springs.
CSFD says that crews on the scene were reporting smoke and fire showing. The fire was quickly knocked down by crews.
CSFD says that one person was found deceased by fire crews when they arrived on the scene. They have requested assistance from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSFD anticipates that the area will be closed for several hours while police investigate.
