WEATHER ALERT: Snow showers return Thursday and Friday

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cold overnight with morning lows dipping into the upper-20s and low-30s.

TOMORROW: Cloudy skies with cooler temps in the 30's and 40's. Rain and snow begin by the afternoon with a transition to all snow overnight Thursday-Friday. This storm will be more a heavy hitter for local mountain cities and higher terrain areas (Teller, Palmer Divide, Wets and Sangres) Friday morning commute likely to be slick, especially around higher terrain areas.

EXTENDED: Drying out Friday evening (after 6-7pm) and clearing skies by Saturday. A nice warming trend returns through the weekend with highs back in the 40's and 50's.

REMINDER: Daylight Saving Time BEGINS this Sunday, March 10th at 2 AM
