El Paso County asking for public opinion on the extension of South Powers Blvd.

El Paso County

EL PASO COUNTY, Co. (KRDO) -- El Paso County seeks public feedback on a development proposal to extend South Powers Boulevard. The Environmental Linkages study is looking into a plan connecting Powers Boulevard at Mesa Ridge Parkway south to the City of Fountain.

The yellow-shaded area on the map shows the location of the potential alignment. El Paso County is recommending two alignments for the extension project.

They're looking to the community on how to best address residents' needs in the area and receive feedback on the project. That feedback is being taken now through February 19th, 2024.  This study will provide recommended alignment for future projects in the area as well.
