Vail Mountain’s Back Bowls now open for the season

VAIL, Colo. (KRDO) -- Vail Mountain & Beaver Creek Resort have announced that the Sun Down Bowl and Sun Up Bowl are now open. They are the first of Vail Mountain's seven Back Bowls.

The Back Bowls have been a staple for guests for more than 60 years. The Sun Up Express (9) and High Noon Express (5) are now open as well. Early season conditions with marked and unmarked obstacles exist.
