Colder air and snow on the way this weekend

TONIGHT: Cold front arrives tonight and will allow for colder temps by sunrise Friday morning as lows dip into the 30s.

FRIDAY: Cooler with highs in the 30's and 40's for the Pikes Peak region. Winds will be out of the east by the afternoon with breezes between 20-25 mph gusts at times.

EXTENDED: Much colder and unsettled weather heading into the weekend. Snow may be heavy at times in the mountains on Friday... with periods of snow into Saturday. The Pikes Peak region will certainly see colder temperatures by Sunday... and a chance for light snow Saturday night and Sunday. Highs on Sunday will max out in the 30s.
