FORT CARSON, Colo. (KRDO) - A Fort Carson soldier who went missing on Oct. 17, has been found, according to a Fort Carson spokesperson.

The soldier was Pvt. 1st Class Aaron Frame, an infantryman assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Fort Carson.

At the time of his disappearance, Frame was last seen in formation at Fort Carson at 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, but failed to report for duty the next morning. His unit leadership and his family were unable to contact him and the exact cause of his departure was unknown, Fort Carson said.

On the evening of Sunday, October 22, a Fort Carson spokesperson issued an update stating, “Today, Pvt. 1st Class Aaron Frame was located and is safe. The 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson sincerely appreciate the assistance of our communities and partnered agencies for their support with finding him.”
