Shelter-in-place at Colorado Springs apartment complex due to barricaded suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A shelter-in-place has been lifted after police took the suspect into custody.
According to police, the suspect exited an apartment and was taken into custody without issue.
Previous reporting: The Colorado Springs Police Department issued a shelter-in-place alert due to a barricaded suspect in the area of 1940 S. Chelton Rd. Wednesday morning.

At 9:33 a.m., CSPD issued an emergency message asking nearby residents to stay indoors, lock and stay away from windows and doors.
This is at an apartment complex, buildings D, E, F, G, and H are asked to shelter in place.
CSPD said it'll send an all-clear message when appropriate.
