KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is implementing new service enhancements to address its weekend on-time performance of its routes.

The proposed implementation of these services went into effect on Sunday, October 1.

These enhancements include:

  • Route 20: A new route that will operate along South Nevada Avenue. It will depart from the Downtown Terminal at the top and the middle of the hour on Saturdays and Sundays for the 10 and 11 Routes.
  • Route 23 & 24: A relocated turnaround location for Routes 23 and 24, that will use the newly completed roundabout at Tutt Boulevard and South Carefree. This new stop will be located on South Carefree and Tutt Boulevard.
  • Route 34: An added bus stop on Route 34 to Austin Bluffs Parkway on Union Boulevard at the underpass of Austin Bluffs Parkway. These stops will provide access to the VA Clinic facility.
  • Route 37: The removal of the Integration Loop service on each inbound trip on Route 37. The Integration Loop will continue to be served on each outbound Route 37 trip, however.
