Denver International Airport celebrates 25 years of service with British Airways
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO)-- The Denver International Airport (DEN) is celebrating 25 years of non-stop service from Denver to London England on Oct. 3.
Just 25 years ago, British Airways touched down at the DEN for the first time.
A quarter-century later, British Airways has generated more than $2.5 billion to Colorado’s economy and has also supported the creation of more than 20,000 jobs.
DEN officials state the airline has offered its service from Denver longer than any other airline in Denver aviation history.
