Cowgirls Against Cancer supports individuals fighting breast cancer
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The 16th annual Cowgirls Against Cancer will be at at the Norris Penrose Event Center on October 19.
The event supports individuals in the Pikes Peak region battling breast cancer. All gifts made meet the needs of the community through the breast cancer patient assistance program of UCHealth Southern Colorado.Â
The group provides funds to support patients in financial distress during cancer treatment through wig vouchers, home-delivered meals or grocery cards, transportation vouchers or gas cards to get to and from treatment, Lymphedema garments,and survivorship resources.
