2023 Homeless Veteran Stand Down

Pueblo, CO (KRDO) -- Pueblo American Legion Post 2 is planning to host an outreach event for homeless veterans. The "2023 Homeless Veteran Stand Down" event is being held at 701 West 9th Street from 9 a.m. to 1 P.M. Vets that attend will receive hygiene products, showers, a hot meal, and other basic comforts. The goal of the event is to connect homeless veterans with different services and resources. According to event organizers, they hope events like this will allow veterans to reintegrate into society with long-term success. Representatives from the Department of Veteran Affairs will be attending along with several other agencies.
