Possible Record-Breaking Heat Thursday

TONIGHT: A few clouds and cool temperatures overnight with morning lows in the 50s.

TOMORROW: After a cool start with temps in the 50's, afternoon highs will soar above average and close to record-breaking heat with temps in the upper 80's Colorado Springs and well into the 90's from Pueblo and the eastern plains

EXTENDED: A stronger SW flow develops over the next couple of days. This will drive temperatures into the upper-80s and mid-90s across the plains this afternoon. Temperatures will cool slightly heading into the weekend... and chances for any precipitation remains low through the weekend.
