Police searching for suspect accused of robbing a Colorado Springs business

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police are searching for a robbery suspect. Wednesday at 2:45 p.m., officers responded to a robbery with a weapon call in the 3000 block of Astrozon Blvd.

According to CSPD, a man entered a local business. He handed an employee a note that stated he was armed and wanted the cash from the register. However, police said no weapon was actually seen during this incident.

The store clerk handed over cash and the suspect left.

When police arrived at the scene the suspect had already left. CSPD said he's described as being in his late 20s or early 30s with a skinny build.
