Missing Indigenous Person Alert: 35-year-old man last seen Sept. 4

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO)-- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is sending out a Missing Indigenous Person Alert for a 35-year-old man out of Colorado Springs. 

Brandon Velasquez was last seen Monday, September 4, near Goose Gossage Park in Colorado Springs. He was wearing a white and black bandana, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. 

Velasquez is described as a 35-year-old Indigenous man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6’3 and 150 pounds and is affiliated with the Apache tribe. 

The CBI added they believe Velasquez is homeless and requires medication. 

Anyone with information regarding Velasquez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) at 719-390-5555.
