Colorado Springs Police: Burglary suspect found with stolen property
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police recovered stolen property after finding the suspect in a burglary.
On Sept. 9, while completing a burglary investigation, a CSPD officer contacted a detective with the Metro Burglary Unit for help.
According to CSPD, investigators began talking to the suspect and arranged a meeting to purchase property believed to have been stolen in the burglary.
The suspect and an associate of the suspect arrived at a pre-arranged location. That's when they were both detained by detectives. CSPD said the suspect did have stolen property.
The suspects were released pending further investigation, per CSPD.
