Colorado Springs Police search for vehicle in fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police are searching for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist dead.

Wednesday at 10:46 p.m., officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department's Sand Creek Division were dispatched to the area of Astrozon Blvd. and Hancock Expy. for a hit-and-run crash.

When police arrived at the scene, the bicyclist was already dead.

Police learned the bicyclist was traveling southbound in the northbound bike lane when a vehicle hit the bicycle and left the scene.
