U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museums shifts to fall/winter hours and pricing after Labor Day

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum (USOPM) will transition to fall/winter pricing and modified hours of operation after Labor Day.
The Museum's fall/winter hours will be:
- Monday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. // general admissions
- Tuesday: Closed for general admission; Scheduled group visits only
- Wednesday: Closed for general admission; Scheduled group visits only
- Thursday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. // general admissions
- Friday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. // general admissions
- Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. // general admissions
- Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. // general admissions
According to officials, during this period, regular admission fees will be reduced, and the museum will be open for general and group visitation Thursdays through Mondays.
Groups may also pre-arrange visits on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
USOPM officials state group rates will be set at $14.95 per adult and $9.95 per child.
Group tours are available seven days a week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, based on groups larger than 12.
The museum will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Wednesday, Sept. 6, marking the start of the fall season on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The USOPM will also make a year-round shift of its Saturday hours of operation to 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the breakdown of pricing and hours as follows:
- $19.95: Adult
- $11.95: Child
- $15.95: Military, Senior, First Responder
From now until the end of September, every Saturday starting at 3 p.m., Colorado residents can purchase admission tickets for $5 each with a valid Colorado ID.Â
Tickets can be purchased in person or online, and out-of-state guests accompanied by a Colorado resident can access the museum for $10 per ticket.
