COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- A new Dunkin’ Donuts location is opening in Colorado Springs and lucky fans will soon have a chance to win free coffee for a year.

The new location will open at 4425 Buckingham Dr. in Colorado Springs (Garden of the Gods Rd. & Buckingham Dr.), and to celebrate its grand opening, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering free coffee for a year (4 free medium hot/iced coffees per month) for the first 100 customers in line at 8 a.m. on Thursday, August 24.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow at 8:30 a.m., where a Colorado Springs Councilmember will welcome guests behind the counter who will also be treated to a free medium hot or iced coffee on opening day as well.

Officials with the event also state Dunkin’ Donuts will be donating a check to Karla Grazier, CEO and President of Goodwill of Colorado.

The new store features a drive-thru, a more modern NextGen design, and in-store innovations including a beverage bar tap system for nitro and cold-brewed coffee. Guests will also notice in-store charging stations and free wi-fi.

“We’re proud to bring this new Dunkin’ location to Colorado Springs and look forward to welcoming the many residents and visitors who run on Dunkin’,” stated Alex Apodaca, COO of Quality Brands.
