Colorado Springs Police: Man caught after allegedly robbing business with a handgun

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a man accused of an overnight armed robbery.

On August 3, at 1:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of Palmer Park Blvd. on reports of an armed robbery. At the scene, police learned a man entered the business, pulled out a handgun, and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers were able to find and arrest the suspect, Akeem J. Reid.

Detectives with CSPD's Robbery/Assault Unit were notified and assumed control of the investigation.
