Scattered showers and thunderstorms again Wednesday

Very warm to hot temperatures this afternoon coupled with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms.

TODAY: High temperatures today will range from the mid-80s to the mid-90s. The best chance for thundershowers will come between 2 pm and 7 pm tonight.  

TONIGHT: Spotty showers early this evening with partly cloudy skies overnight. Morning lows will fall into the 50s and 60s.

EXTENDED: Daily chance for showers and thunderstorms will linger over the next several days. Highs will remain in the 80s and 90s through Saturday, but cooler temperatures arrive for the end of the weekend. Temperatures on Sunday will drop into the upper-70s and low-80s... but Sunday will once again feature rain showers and thunderstorms. Cool again Monday with warming temperatures by Tuesday.
