Northbound I-25 closed at Pueblo Boulevard following fatal accident
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) - A serious traffic accident has closed northbound I-25 at Pueblo Boulevard.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the incident happened around 10 a.m. on Wednesday August, 2, but the accident wasn't deemed fatal until around 12:30 in the afternoon.
The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) stated northbound traffic is being diverted off I-25 at Pueblo Blvd. and drivers can access I-25 at Indiana Ave.
PPD also stated access to businesses east of I-25 and south of Pueblo Blvd. will still be able to be accessed.
As of now I-25 will remain closed as investigation efforts are underway.
