Fountain Post Office reopens after car crashed into building
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (KRDO)-- The United States Postal Service (USPS) is announcing the reopening of the Fountain Post Office.
Closures were issued following a runaway vehicle that crashed through the building on the week of July 24, forcing operations to be temporarily suspended, according to officials.
Building repair efforts on the weekend of Saturday, July 29-30 to make the building accessible and safe were successful and the Post Office reopened for operation on Monday, July 31.
Normal business hours are now resuming Monday-Friday from 8-5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9-1 p.m.
