Colorado Springs police lift shelter in place for nearby residents

COLORADO SPRINGS,Colo. (KRDO)--Colorado Springs police lift a shelter place.

According to Colorado Springs Police (CSPD), they responded to 4331 N Chestnut St. at 2:45pm and asked nearby residents to shelter in place.

A police officer on scene said a man was firing a gun in the area, prompting authorities to ask people to stay inside for their safety.

 It's unclear if CSPD made any arrests.
