Police search for stabbing suspect in Northeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police are searching for the suspect in a reported stabbing along E. Fillmore St.

Thursday around 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported stabbing in the 0 block of E. Fillmore St. At the scene, police found a victim with a laceration to their face.

According to CSPD, the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim told police they didn't know the suspect and claimed the attack was unprovoked.

Despite an extensive search of the area by officers, K9 units, and a drone the suspect wasn't found.
