COSILoveYou hosts 5th Annual Backpack Bash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- COSILoveYou is hosting its 5th Annual Backpack Bash and they need your help preparing students for the start of the school season.

The Backpack Bash will be held on Saturday, July 29, and Saturday, August 5, across seven different locations in El Paso County—joining more than 70 organizations working to support more than 12,000 students.

The annual event offers students a free backpack with brand-new school supplies and gives families year-round support as they interact with different organization groups. 

Officials with COSILoveYou stated they have reached their goal of collecting 12,000 backpacks but community members are still welcome to donate more at their drop-off office located on 310 S. 14th Street between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Now, COSILoveYou is looking for volunteers as they get ready for the first Backpack Bash in Fountain on Saturday, July 29.
