Tornado Warning issued for areas including Wiley and Lamar

LAMAR, Colo. (KRDO) - The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for Lamar and Wiley until 10:15 p.m.

This alert was issued at 9:42 p.m. Below is a look at the areas affected.

This graphic displays a tornado warning plotted on a map. The warning is in effect until 10:15 PM MDT. The warning includes Lamar CO and Wiley CO.  This warning is for West central Prowers County in southeastern Colorado and Eastern Bent County in southeastern Colorado. The threats associated with this warning are a radar indicated tornado and baseball sized hail. There are 9,082 people in the warning along with 8 schools and 1 hospital.

The National Weather Service said there was a radar-indicated tornado in the area with baseball-sized hail possible.
