CSFD rescues driver from high water Wed. evening

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a driver trapped in high water Wednesday evening on E. Platte Ave.

The CSFD said the water rescue was in the 3020 block of Platte Ave.

One individual was trapped in their vehicle and surrounded by water and hail.

There is no word on the condition of the driver at this time.
