COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) and Colorado Springs Police (CSPD) say callers can once again dial 911 to report an emergency in El Paso Co.

Early Tuesday morning, El Paso Co. agencies sent out an urgent warning that 911 systems across El Paso County had gone down.

However, the issue affecting the outages has since been fixed. Residents no longer need to dial the non-emergency lines. They can once again call 911 or text their emergencies to 911.

At this time there's no word on what caused the outage.
