COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are investigating two reported business robberies which appear to be connected to one another in Colorado Springs.

Sunday, police said officers were dispatched to a business for a reported robbery in the 7000 block of Commerce Center Dr., just before 9 p.m.

According to the police, the suspect walked into the store and "took items by force." Police said the suspect threatened to carry a weapon but it was not seen.

After the incident, police said the suspect drove off in a vehicle before officers got to the scene.

About 30 minutes later, police received another report of a robbery, this one in the 1700 block of Dublin Blvd.

According to police, a woman threatened a clerk with "physical harm" and took many items from the business.

Police said after the suspect left the business, she got into a vehicle with other occupants and drove off.

Police said the two robberies appear to be linked.
